Texas Surgical Associates Appoints New President
HOUSTON (July 9, 1998) - Texas Surgical Associates (TSA), a group practice of
cardiovascular surgeons, recently appointed Wade Rosenberg, M.D., president of
their group for 1998-1999.
Rosenberg, a founding partner of TSA, is a board-certified surgeon and a
clinical assistant professor of surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. He is
also director of the pancreas transplant program in conjunction with Baylor
College of Medicine and The Methodist Hospital Multi-Organ Transplant Center.
Formed last July in response to changes in managed care, TSA specializes in
cardiovascular, thoracic, transplant and general surgery. TSA physicians have
contracts with 30 managed-care companies and are affiliated with The Methodist
Hospital, Memorial Hospital Southwest, Memorial City Hospital, St. Joseph
Hospital and Clear Lake Regional Hospital.
